The ICARUS heat radiator system uses coulomb-confined micro particles to maximize radiative surface area. Space radiators that used to weigh metric tons now are achieved with kilograms of mass.

  • ICARµS can provide heat rejection capabilities greater than 1MW/kg of radiator mass

  • Nuclear electric systems can provide power to run the radiators with minimal mass penalties

  • Being an active (non-passive) system allows for changing parameters to adapt to different power levels or environments.

  • Enables large scale nuclear spacecraft for exploration of the solar system or orbiting data centers/power plants around earth
